Tarra Wright Many Chief

Tarra Wright-Many Chief is a proud member of the Blood Tribe and the Blackfoot Confederacy. She is the CEO and owner of Many Chief Consulting Ltd. and Many Chief Tours. Tarra holds a Bachelor of Management from the University of Lethbridge, focusing on Accounting and First Nations Governance, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of Saskatchewan. She has been working as an Indigenous consultant since 2015, specializing in engagement and relationship-building to support community development and project planning.

Under her leadership, the firm has supported numerous initiatives that emphasize meaningful engagement, strategic planning, and sustainable development. Tarra has worked extensively with Indigenous communities, organizations, and businesses across Canada to foster economic growth, promote cultural preservation, and create inclusive opportunities.

Tarra’s expertise includes developing Indigenous engagement strategies, facilitating partnerships, and designing culturally relevant plans for projects in tourism, economic development, and community capacity building. She has also contributed to high-profile initiatives such as creating Indigenous land acknowledgments for Air Canada and guiding Indigenous cultural design integration for the Glenbow Museum’s revitalization and the new Calgary event centre, Scotia Place.

With a proven track record of delivering impactful results, Tarra remains dedicated to advancing Indigenous economic sustainability, fostering respectful cultural sharing, and supporting community-driven development in a meaningful and respectful way.

Casey Vanden Heuvel

Casey Vanden Heuvel grew up on a farm in Southwestern Ontario before moving to Toronto for school and to start his career. He has also lived in BC and Alberta and has travelled to all 13 provinces and territories of Canada on various projects. Casey is inspired by opportunities to be community-minded, provide strategic guidance and discover innovative possibilities and approaches to support sustainable growth and success.

Casey is experienced in strategic planning, business development, communications, and operations/logistics from a diverse career. Casey spent 15 years with the Toronto Maple Leafs and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment where he developed his operational skills, corporate knowledge and communications expertise. Leading Tourism Whistler’s three-year communications strategy for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games provided extensive partnership and planning experience. As the Executive Director of the award-winning Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre in Whistler, BC, Casey enhanced his leadership skills as a tourism business operator reporting directly to an Indigenous Board of Directors. Casey launched CVH Consulting in 2014 as an independent contractor successfully establishing new national and provincial Indigenous tourism associations as well as supporting numerous tourism operators, Indigenous businesses and community leaders. His work has blended both business and cultural successes with highly visible organizations with equally high expectations.
